The DGWD course provides comprehensive training in both graphic design and web development, equipping students with the creative and technical skills needed to excel in the digital design industry. The program covers the fundamentals and advanced techniques of sketching, typography, and visual communication, along with hands-on experience in industry-standard software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign.

Students learn to create and enhance images, apply effects, work with layers, symbols, and 3D graphics, and design impactful print and digital advertising campaigns. The course also emphasizes web design and development, including UI/UX principles, interactive multimedia, JavaScript, jQuery, and database management, enabling students to build responsive and engaging websites. Additionally, the program teaches search engine optimization (SEO), website analytics, and performance tracking, ensuring students are equipped to create professional, user-friendly, and optimized digital solutions.

Graphics Designing Suite introduces the foundational concepts of graphic design, visual communication, and digital design tools. The semester covers basic sketching techniques, image resolution, typography, and design fundamentals, along with hands-on practice in industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign. It includes working with vector and raster graphics, layouts, colors, text, advertising concepts, and print media. The semester also focuses on creating, editing, exporting, and preparing graphics for web and print, while building a strong base for advanced design studies in subsequent semesters.

Term 2: Web Suite Description

This semester focuses on the fundamentals of web design and development as part of the DGWD program. It covers the creation of rich, interactive, and user-friendly web content using graphics, hyperlinks, and structured layouts. Students learn to design, code, and develop websites and individual web pages while building effective website structures and managing dynamic digital content. The semester also introduces search engine optimization (SEO), website performance analysis, traffic tracking, and optimization techniques, preparing students to create visually appealing, functional, and optimized websites for a professional web presence.
